Shirley and Wes's Quilts by Linda H.
Before Christmas, my sister,Linda Huntrods made quilts for our cousin, Shirley and her husband, Wes.
The one for Shirley was titled "Dearest Alma", in tribute to Shirley's grandmother, who was our aunt.
Alma was a lovely person who happened to be a great quilter. She was the inspiration for Linda and I to start quilting in the first place. The quilt for Wes was called "Harvest Time" because he is a farmer in Alberta.
They didn't know that Linda was making quilts for them, so it was a nice surprise to receive that packagein the mail. :D
