Rectangle Rhythm By Linda H.

"Rectangle Rhythm" is another interesting design that Linda came up with. She found some nice yardage in her stash to use for the backing. There are always treasures to be found in the sewing hole. This quilt was donated to her quilting group, they'll find a good home for it.

Ladders By Linda H.

Linda recently designed "Ladders". She used up a ton of 2 1/2" squares in the making. She will most likely keep this one because it's a favourite. UPDATE:I thought Linda was going to keep this one but she donated it. Lucky recipient!

Twenty Years In The Making

I started this "Buzz Saw" quilt twenty years ago. I would make a few blocks, put it away for a number of years, bring it out, work on it, etc. The pattern came from the book, "Open a Can of Worms" by Debbie Caffrey. This book came out before pre-cut Jelly Roll strips came on the market. Debbie called her 2 1/2" strips "Worms". It's quilted in a simple loop type design. The wide backing fabric came fro Connecting Threads. Even though I don't need another quilt for my bed, I'm keeping this one. I wouldn't be able to part with it. (I say this as the quilts are just about piled up to the ceiling)

Chicken Balls Is Finally Completed

I started "Chicken Balls" in the mid-90s. The colour combo looks quite dated. Oh well, at least it's finished now. I don't know what I'm going to do with it. Two of the blocks are pieced and three are hand appliqued. Other ones are cut from a panel. The layout and two of the blocks are my own design. I used a panel and extended it with other fabrics to make it big enough for the backing. The panel was printed off-grain, which is annoying because it had to be cut with the grain to make the backing square. I disguised the crooked corners by adding some hand-appliqued fabrics. It's quilted with all-over feathers.

Apron

I just finished making this apron. The picture of it on a hanger didn't turn out great because the apron was folding in on itself. I was...
