Face Mask With Crocheted Extender

The elastic on a face mask can be uncomfortable around the ears. I found a tutorial on making a crocheted extender that goes behind the head. The instructions can be found HERE
I tried the extender on with the mask and found it better if the elastic was on top of my ears instead of around them. This way the mask will stay firmly in place and won't make my ears stick out. 👂
Here is the LINK to the instructions for this type of mask. I cut my circle 12" in diameter and each side of elastic 7". Batik fabric works very well because it has a high thread count.
