Two Socks, One Year Apart

I just finished knitting the second sock, the first one was made last July. It was a learning and ripping experience, I had never made socks before. I should have started each sock with the same section of the self-striping yarn, oh well. It's a blistering heat wave here and I'm wearing them because it's so exciting to have them done, haha!
