Throwback Thursday; Quilt Top #14

I made this quilt top somewhere around the late 90s, it still needs an outer border. The late and great Mary Ellen Hopkins said, "All reds go together", I believe that. I used a specialty ruler that made the pieces on the bias, but don't remember what it was called. It was a quick technique but I don't think I'd do that again, it caused too much waste of fabric. In my opinion, it doesn't make sense to pay a fortune for supplies, then throw a great deal of it in the garbage. Waste not, want not!
