Making Do

My "Traffic Jam" blocks are now sewn into a quilt top. I was short ONE grey sashing strip. It was my own fault, the piece of fabric looked big enough, I didn't measure it to see how many 12 1/2" strips could be obtained from it. To solve the problem, I pieced the last strip with three seams. After the quilting is done, it shouldn't be noticeable. I raked through my stash to see what would look nice for a border, nothing seemed to be suitable. It may end up with no border.
