Quilt Top #22
I just finished sewing the victory lap on this quilt top (stitching around the edge to secure the seams). I started the blocks for this one a few years ago, then put them away. I dug them out recently and started working on the project again. I got the idea from a picture posted in an online quilt group. There was no pattern, so I figured it out by drawing a block diagram. I don't have a clue on how I'm going to quilt it.

Autumn Acres Is Completed
"Autumn Acres", formerly known as "Quilt Top #9" is now completed. I got the pattern from McCall's Quilting Magazine, September/October 2014. The quilt was designed by Sarah Maxwell and Dolores Smith. I followed the pattern the way it was but added nine-patches in the corners instead of the striped blocks. The colours I chose were a little brighter than in the magazine. I free motion quilted it, using King Tut "Riverbank" thread. It was nice to finally finish something. :)

Green Sampler Blocks By Linda H.
Linda H has been working on these green sampler blocks the past few weeks. She's trying to decide what fabric to use for sashing between the blocks. There might be something usable in her stash, but then there's always Connecting Threads. We order from there most of the time, their prices are great even after the exchange with our pitiful Canadian currency. The best part- FREE SHIPPING with a $75.00 or more order. Yay!

Not Making Much Progress Today
I can't seem to get much done on this quilt. Igor thinks it's more important that he gets the attention.
