Two Socks, One Year Apart
I just finished knitting the second sock, the first one was made last July. It was a learning and ripping experience, I had never made socks before. I should have started each sock with the same section of the self-striping yarn, oh well.
It's a blistering heat wave here and I'm wearing them because it's so exciting to have them done, haha!

Wow!
This cross stitched item was displayed in the MacBride Museum in Whitehorse, Yukon. I stood there and gawked at it for the longest time, amazed by the excellent workmanship. It was stitched in 1992 by many different people, then was assembled by a needlecraft guild. It was hanging on the wall, I thought it should have been under glass to protect it from being handled.
