Large Tote Bag

I went to a garage sale a few weeks ago and bought a stack of cotton fabric for $10. In the mix there was a large piece of heavy duty twill and a few metres of a calico print. I wanted to use up all of the twill, so I made a giant tote bag and lined it with the calico. Now I have a bag for transporting quilts- yay! Sasquatch Quilt In Progress

I'm working on a Sasquatch quilt at the cabin this year. This is what I've got done so far, more tree blocks need to be made. The pattern, "Legendary" is from Elizabeth Hartman. Her quilt has one Sasquatch on it, I decided to make two, one is going to become a female after the extra parts are added.

Summer Wall Quilt By Linda H.

Linda has been making small seasonal quilts to hang up in Richard's office. There wasn't a summer one yet, so Linda cooked up this one. It turned out great! Linda used part of a pattern called, "Summer Sailing" by Gail Sheppard in the Love of Quilting magazine, July/August 2022. The pattern was for a bigger quilt, Linda made a smaller version of it.

I always cut my own strips from yardage or scraps. The quilt went together quickly and was wasy to make. I added a long piece of a coordinating fabric to the back to make it wide enough. This one will most likely be a donation quilt.
I couldn't get the colour of the backing to show up properly on the one photo, the true colour is the brighter yellow.
