The Yukon Cabin Sewing Hole
This is what my sewing hole looks like in the cabin. Keep in mind that it's a one-room cabin, so all I've got is a corner to work in.
I can cut, iron and sew, all on the same table. There is even room for a CD player so I can listen to the radio or music. The electricity comes from a gas-powered generator that's outside on the lawn.
The setup is nothing fancy, but it works. Quilting keeps me out of trouble, as my Aunt Alma used to say.

32 Courthouse Steps Blocks So Far
Here are 32 blocks that I've made so far. The wind was blowing, I had to hurry to take a picture before they became too ruffled up. Then my shadow darkened half of the blocks. Oh well, wind and sun happens. In a perfect world I would have a photography studio, as if that's ever going to happen. :)
I think I might make 63 blocks, that would make a quilt that measures 70"X90". I'm using scraps and strips from other projects, so I could make it bigger if I wanted to.

What's Happening In The Yukon Sewing Hole?
My cabin in the Yukon also has a sewing hole, on a much smaller scale than the one back home.
I've been working on some Courthouse Steps blocks. These ones are still in progress, more strips need to be added to each one.
I haven't figured out what size this quilt is going to be. When I get tired of making blocks will be the deciding factor.

Another Donation Baby Quilt By Linda H.
Linda has been producing many baby quilts to donate. This is what she said about this one, "It is called Four Square by Kate Colleran from Quick and Easy Quilts in the Aug/Sept 2021 issue. It looks simple but it is set on the diagonal and you have to watch the orientation of the four patches and number all the rows."
I'm sure the recipient of this quilt will be pleased.
