Sunburst Quilt By Linda H.
Linda H made this small Sunburst quilt a little while back. She has been finishing up quite a few projects since the beginning of the year.

Pin Basting
I crawled around on my hands and knees for a few hours, pin basting. Igor lounged on the couch and didn't bug me this time. :)

Quilt Top #21
I finally got this beast sewn together. It wasn't easy fitting the whole thing into the photo, I wasn't able to stand back far enough. Now I have an explosion of fabric to put away, I had been digging through everything to find enough variety for the blocks. It would be terrible to have the same fabrics too close together. :)

Four "Dappled" Quilts
There were four of us making "Dappled" quilts around the same time, I thought I'd post pictures of them all on one page. Vicki put sashing between her blocks: Audrey used sashing and cornerstones on hers: Linda H used lots of autumn colours: I posted a picture of mine not long ago, here it is again. It's interesting to see four different versions of the same quilt block pattern.

Goal Accomplished!
Here it is, UFO #13, completing the goal of finishing 13 UFOs in 2013. This one is titled, "Nobody is Getting This Quilt, the Blocks Took Five Years to Make". The blocks are hand appliquéd, the machine quilting is done in silk thread. I saw a quilt kit with fabric that I liked, so I bought it and didn't use the pattern, just the fabrics. The appliqué flowers that are on my quilt came from a Fons and Porter magazine: "Fun Quilts for Kids of all Ages". The pattern was called "Daisy Dreams", designed by Cyndi Walker. I didn't make the quilt the way it was in the pattern, I used an entirely different configuration."
