A New Project
Please excuse my ugly carpet, I wanted to show the new project I've started. There was a quilt shown on one of my online quilting groups and I wanted to make one like it. I figured out the pattern and started from the corner, working my way out diagonally. The gold coloured block in the upper right corner is too light for the dark section, it should be replaced. I should be finishing up UFOs but I became caught up in the siren song of starting something new. The story of my life.

Throwback Thursday; Yellow Brick Road
This is a Yellow Brick Road quilt that I made in 2004. I made quite a few quilts in that pattern, it works well when you need to make something quickly. When I look back at my pictures with a film camera, I notice the colours never seem true. Also, back in those days, I didn't have a frame to hang the quilts on, somebody had to hold them up so I could take the photos.

Last Finish Of 2017
Formerly known as "Quilt Top #20", the "X" quilt was finished at the end of December. I don't know the proper name for this quilt, I saw a picture in one of my quilting groups and made one similar to it. "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery", they say.
:) I was able to use up a big chunk of Thimbleberries fabric for the backing.
