New Pyjama Pants

There were two pieces of this red plaid in my fabric stash, not quite enough to make pyjama pants. I came up with this solution. Before cutting out the pattern, I sewed a strip of black fabric to the end of each plaid section. Then I pinned the pattern, being careful to match the plaid lines on each section. The black was also used for the pocket linings. To finish it off, I stitched with red thread on the top.
