Hen Potholders

I'm invited to a surprise birthday party/potluck supper. I made this set of potholders for the birthday lady. She raises chickens and sells eggs, so I thought the hen potholders would be a good gift for her. I made so many mistakes piecing the blocks, the seam ripper had a workout. I cut some of the pieces the wrong size and had to redo them. Even with 32 years of quilting experience, errors can still happen, groan!
