Friendship Star Quilt Completed
My Friendship Star quilt is all done. It's not too old of a project, the blocks were made last year. I'm not entirely happy with the quilting, it doesn't seem to suit the block design. Oh well, there's nothing I can do about it now. I used up two big pieces of Moda fabric on the back. The colour isn't true in the photos, no matter how I tried, I couldn't capture what it really looks like. The dotted fabric is more of a gold and brown colour. It was nice to use up a bunch of that stuff because I haven't had a lot of brown/tan/gold fabrics in my quilts in the past few years.

Crocheted Basket
I just finished making a crocheted basket, using three strands of yarn. It turned out a bit smaller than it was supposed to be because my crocheting is so tight. Next time I'll use a bigger hook. The YouTube instruction video can be found HERE

Product Review: Sewline Duo Marker+Eraser
I bought this pen set a few months ago but hadn't tried it until now. I needed to mark some guidelines on the edge of this quilt. The felt tip pen marks clearly, then the eraser pen gets rid of the ink. When the ink is used up, the pen can be purchased separately. As you can see by the photo, I just need to erase a bit more then the line will be gone. I am quite pleased with it so far. The ink may not show up well on dark fabrics, but on lighter fabrics it works great.

Happy Valentine's Day
Instead of buying an expensive Hallmark card which will get tossed out, I made a pillow for my Valentine. The pattern came from the book, "A Thimbleberries Housewarming" by Lynette Jensen. In the book, the pattern was a wall quilt, but I made it into a pillow. I also made Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake.

Three "Cloudgazing" Quilts
Linda's friend, Vicki finished her Cloudgazing quilt. The three of us were all making the same pattern, each one looks different because of our fabric choices. Vicki fussy cut killer whale fabric for the large squares. I think it looks fantastic!
Here is Linda's "Blue Skies" quilt:
This is my "Yukon Skies" quilt:
The pattern is "Cloudgazing" from McCalls Quick Quilts, December-January 2019, designed by Kathryn Wagar Wright.

Table Runner
I started a quilt last year but abandoned it because it seemed too tedious. Not wanted to waste the parts that were constructed, I used them in a table runner. It's the same length as my coffee table, so that's where it's going to live. I already slopped tea on it to break it in. :)

Blocking A Jellyroll Rug
I made a jellyroll rug for Lindsay. The edges were rippling a bit, so I pinned it to the carpet with T-pins and sprayed it with water. Hopefully, it will be flattened after this treatment. I cut my own strips of fabric and batting to make the rug.
